Story centers on a sixty-something Bruce Springsteen-type rocker, who discovers a long-unopened letter addressed to him from John Lennon; after reading it, he’s shocked to learn that he actually fathered a son. Pacino will play the aging rocker, Renner the estranged son, and Moore a hotel manager in New Jersey that befriends Pacino’s character.

Pacino last played himself in “Jack and Jill” and will next be in comedy drama “Stand Up Guys” also starring Christopher Walken. Renner, last seen in “The Bourne Legacy” and “The Avengers” will next be in the drama “Low Life” also starring Joaquin Phoenix. Indie drama “Being Flynn” was the last siting for Moore but she’ll turn up next in “Don Jon’s Addiction” (written/directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and drama “What Maisie Knew”.
