The 26th annual MTV Movie Awards was not its usual event this weekend as it was the first time it combined movie and television categories and removed gendered categories. Beauty and the Beast was the big winner of the night, taking home multiple statues and being the inspiration for the event’s opening number.

As the lines between Hollywood and Broadway become more and more blurred, Christopher Jackson and Jane Krakowski announced the nominations for the 2017 Tony Awards Tuesday morning, with the War & Peace musical Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 leading the pack.

The Peabody Awards are rolling out the recipients of the prestigious accolade and today they announced their entertainment winners which included the critically acclaimed FX series Atlanta created by and starring Donald Glover as well as the HBO comedy VEEP.

Though she still has yet to receive the Oscar, although she’s been nominated five times, Amy Adams will receive the American Cinematheque Award at this year’s ceremony on November 10 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
