Monthly wrap up reports on the spec market.

Logline: A hopeless prison warden enlists unwanted stray dogs from the small death row foundation, “We Let The Dogs Inn” to help calm and rehabilitate his crazy bunch of inmates. Comedic, heartfelt events convert the inmates into citizens and the dogs into training dogs for the police and the blind. Since its inception ten years ago, the prison-dog program has had unprecedented results. It has trained and placed thousands of service dogs and nearly one hundred percent of the convicts who participated have found employment after their release, and the recidivism rate is practically zero.

Logline: An irresponsible husband suddenly has to grow up when his wife is hypnotized in order to overcome her fear of public speaking, and reverts back to her 7-year-old self.

Logline: When Resistance fighter Piet Hartog witnesses atrocities toward the Jews during WWII, he is drawn into a web of espionage and clandestine activities in “the Hiding Place.” There, Piet meets Resistance journalist Hans Poley and embarks on a nonstop hunt through underground tunnels, Gestapo hijacks, daring rescues and stunning miracles in one of history’s most famous dramas.

Logline: A hot-shot New York architect is given the opportunity of a lifetime when he is chosen to construct his dream building in Dubai. However, once there, his life is turned upside down when his wife is kidnapped and he uncovers he is now part of a major conspiracy.

Logline: A virus from a top secret government island has accidentally infected a spring break cruise ship in the middle of the ocean. With most of the partying students turned into zombies, it’s up to a soldier and a group of co-eds to contain the virus before it reaches land – and before they are eaten.

Logline: A decorated NYPD Detective is on the run for stumbling on to a much needed drug, to the chagrin of the Government, and New York’s finest, all of whom are now gunning for him.

Logline: When an eccentric long-lost childhood friend shows up unexpectedly at a wedding, the Best Man worries that his position is in jeopardy.

Logline: Two drug reps with nothing in common are forced to travel to Milwaukee and hook the biggest sale of their lives.

Logline: Based on the life of J. Edgar Hoover, the man often credited with making the FBI what it is today: an efficient, crime-fighting organization shrouded in secrecy. Hoover founded the organization in 1935 and remained director until his death in 1972.

Logline: Story centers on a young boy who lives in a prison that is a complete society; outside the prison, the world is stuck in the 17th century and run by computers. The boy comes into contact with the warden’s daughter, who lives in her own sort of jail, and they find a key that can change everything.

Logline: The story, set in the rugged mountains of 1929 North Carolina, centers on a man named George Pemberton and his new bride, Serena, as they create a timber empire. Serena not only takes to the woods, but she also pushes her husband to commit more and more ruthless acts. When she learns she cannot bear a child, Serena sets out to murder the son her husband fathered illegitimately.

Logline: The story follows a couple who survives an avalanche, and upon their return back to their hotel, they find they are the only survivors left. Not long after, they begin to see supernatural visions of their future, and begin to realize this silent world they live in is no longer their own.

Logline: Story centers on a meek small-town pharmacist, stuck in a loveless marriage, who rediscovers himself through an affair with a trophy wife who introduces him to the wonderful world of prescription drugs, and the idea of murdering her husband.

Logline: An irresponsible flight escort, tagged with the responsibility of delivering a spoiled and obnoxious 14-year old to Boston on time, must find alternate means of transportation when their plane is grounded.

Logline: Story center on the true story of Marlin “The Magician” Briscoe, the first African-American starting quarterback in football.

Logline: Harold, a bald young boy with a love of drawing, fears that the birth of a new baby brother will ruin his life. With his magic purple crayon he retreats into a fantasy world in which a monster abducts his baby brother. When real-life complications occur during the pregnancy, it’s up to Harold to right his wrongs.

Logline: When his people are conquered and he is enslaved, a young man must rise to become the greatest athlete of his time in the first bloodsport of the Olympic Games – where victory will lead to freedom for the one he loves, and defeat means death for the both of them.

Logline: Rachel, a Caucasian woman, and her young interracial son travel to Taiwan to learn the secrets of her murdered husband’s family, only to find themselves on the run from her husband’s killers.

Logline: Story centers on a man who confides his problems to a stranger he meets in a bar and, in a drunken moment, gives the stranger a list of the five people he’d like to see dead; the people on his list are soon being killed off.
