As our judges, partners and mentors begin their deep dive into this years finalists, we, alongside our exclusive partners Artillery Creative and Oil & Cattle Entertainment are thrilled to announce the next round of finalists in this years competition, as we present our Top 75.

With his Lifers Anonymous pilot leading the way, Collins-Smith becomes one of the more than 360 writers who have landed representation coming out of the Launch Pad Program!

With this Top 100 announcement marking the first of our 2018 competitions, we’re not only thrilled to introduce to you those who’ve made the top 4% of this year’s competition, but also in looking back at the milestones our community of writers have achieved since the competitions began. We’ve seen more than 360 writers signed, 100 projects set up, 50 writers staffed, 100 appearances on the annual best of lists, and six bidding wars since the Launch Pad began, and with this new list of writers joining our Launch Pad community, we’re being excited to see where they go from here!

Eric Martin becomes the latest Launch Pad alum to sign with representation following the recent Launch Pad Feature Competition announcements. Martin, who penned one of the most exciting, action-packed, neo-western thrillers we’ve ever read with his Launch Pad finalist PRESIDIO, has made it official and inked with Adam Levine, Evan Pioch and Nicky Mohebbi of Verve.

Following an exceptional break-out run that began in late 2016 and included landing a finalist spot in the Launch Pad Pilot Competition for her pilot GILFS, signing with UTA, joining the writers room on “Saturday Night Live”, earning Emmy and WGA nominations, winning a WGA award, being named one of the Top new screenwriters to watch on the 2017 Young & Hungry List, seeing her show “The Dead Dads Club” sell out at the Upright Citizens Brigade, when it comes to Kristen Bartlett, we’re genuinely not sure there’s anything she can’t do!

His original screenplay Beast follows a woman facing off against a bloodthirsty beast after her plane crashes in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

His original screenplay The Noble Woman tells the remarkable true story of a 16th Century French noblewoman who must fight to survive under impossible conditions when she and her lover are marooned on a remote Canadian island during an expedition to the New World.

Her fantasy-romance manuscript Beautifully Damned is described as a cross between Twilight and True Blood. The YA story follows two immortal beings who are living as teenagers as they fight to find each other while struggling against the systematic persecution of humans with magical powers.

The film follows small-town sheriff Evie Hartley who arrives to find the entire town murdered, except for two missing young siblings. The project hails from Launch Pad’s Nicolina Torres and is the first announcement from Silverman’s new company.

Tunnecliffe, who hails from Australia, first made a splash stateside with her original screenplay The Grow House, which earned her a spot in the Top 75 of the 2016 Launch Pad Feature Competition.
