Good Deed Entertainment
Over the past few years, the Tribeca Film Festival has managed to find increasingly better independent films that weren’t already scooped up by Sundance and SXSW. Permission was one such film.
Fledgling Good Deed Entertainment, who have yet to have a significant hit, picked the movie up out of Tribeca, and they’ve now released the first trailer, which you can watch below.
Written and directed by Brian Crano (A Bag of Hammers), Permission stars Rebecca Hall and Dan Stevens as Anna and Will, who have been together since they became each other’s first loves. They’re now ready to take the next step into marriage but Anna’s brother Hale (David Joseph Craig) suggest she go out with a few other men before committing to Will. At the same time, Hale is having his own trouble committing to his partner Reece (Morgan Spector).
The movie is a great example of someone taking a very personal story and expanding it into a movie that’s both funny and poignant, but also one that’s infinitely relatable despite your relationship status.
Good Deed Entertainment will release Permission on Feb. 9, 2018.
