Scribe Danny Strong is moving into the feature world, as he has just been cast to adapt THE LOST SYMBOL, the third installment of the Dan Brown thrillers that focuses on symbolist Robert Langdon. Mark Romanek is expected to direct the feature after Ron Howard helmed the first two films, but opted to to come back for a third.
Tom Hanks, who played Langdon in the first two thrillers, is expected to reprise, but no commitment has been made to this point.
Howard and Brian Grazer are producing the project.
