has acquired ’s , the Overall Winner of the 2017 Launch Pad Pilots Competition.

Dead Men follows a local sheriff who bands together with an elite group of soldiers to track down a notorious group of murderers whose plans for revenge could threaten the stability of the government. Romark Entertainment is also attached to produce alongside Endgame..

Snyder’s script was decisively chosen by the Launch Pad’s panel of industry judges, who hail from companies such as CAA, Brillstein Entertainment, Vertigo Entertainment, 3 Arts, Energy Entertainment, Scott Free, among others. The pilot, which has been described as Deadwood meets Seven, was praised for its poetically crafted scenes, layered characters, and brutal and morally complex story.

The production company behind many acclaimed films including Looper, Freeheld and Hotel Rwanda, Endgame was the Launch Pad Pilot Competition’s first Guaranteed Option partner. The company has several films on the horizon including David Lowery’s Old Man and the Gun, the Robert Redford-Casey Affleck film that was picked up earlier this year by Fox Searchlight. Also on the horizon for Endgame is Netflix’s real-life drama Come Sunday, with Martin Sheen set to play televangelist Oral Roberts.

Endgame has been looking to expand their TV production arm, bringing in veteran TV executive Leif Lillehaugen late last year to develop a deep and diverse slate of thought-provoking original content, which has long been a draw for A-list talent and filmmakers. Currently, they have docuseries Last Chance U at Netflix.

The Launch Pad Feature Competition is currently open for submissions for its 2017 competition.
