Raising Hope star Garret Dillahunt is joining The Mindy Project. The role marks a return to his comedic roots, as he is coming off a turn as a villain in FX's Justified. Dillahunt will play a doctor who replaces Mindy Kaling's character when she goes on maternity leave.
