{HEAT METER} Hot Horror Spec “Raven Court” Heads Into New Territories – Paramount, Blumhouse & More!
0The hot new horror spec RAVEN COURT out from Richard Hobley is hot on the market, blazing into an impressive fourteen territories. The spec, out from Jon Kanak of Kanak Management, was confirmed this morning to have been taken into Dimension, Michael Bay’s banner Platinum Dunes, Altitude, UK company Pinewood Pictures, WWE Studios, and Silver Pictures. I can now confirm that the spec is into Automatik, Intrepid, Blumhouse, Good Universe, IM Global, UK financiers Bankside and Hanway, and was taken directly into Paramount.
Hobley’s work has led to his presence on both the 2014 Young And Hungry List and the 2013 Blood List. Raven Court follows a woman named Grace in the aftermath of her husband’s brutal murder, who is given the impossible opportunity to bring him back from the dead… but with horrific consequences.
Kanak is attached to produce the resurrection tale, with James Harris and Mark Lane producing through their Tea Shop & Film Company shingle. Director James Moran is attached to helm the horror story, best known for his work on horror entries such as Ouija, Dark Skies, and the Paranormal Activity series. Moran made his feature debut with the Always Watching: A Marble Hornets Story adaptation.
