J.C. Spink

When J.C. Spink died last month at the all-too-young age of 45, he left a huge hole in the Hollywood community, which was shocked and heartbroken by the abrupt, unexpected loss.

Hundreds of his friends and colleagues took to Twitter and Facebook to pay tribute to J.C. and share their memories of the man, whose kindness knew no bounds.

Those who knew Spink are invited to a memorial service that will be held this Thursday, May 4, at 10 a.m. at All Saints’ Episcopal Church, which is located at 504 N. Camden Drive in Beverly Hills. Following the memorial, there will be a small reception on the church grounds.

Spink’s family asks that in lieu of flowers, they’d appreciate it if friends would donate to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.

Spink was the producer of A History of Violence and Just Friends whose numerous executive producer credits included The Hangover trilogy. In 1998, he co-founded the management-production company Benderspink, which quickly became a behemoth in the lucrative spec market.
