If you are currently watching VEEP then you should consider yourself one of the many smart human beings watching one of these best shows on television. Following Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley on HBO, Veep could very well be part of one of the best TV lineups ever created in history. And if you are not watching it, I don’t know what to tell you.

In any case, the political comedy is now in its fifth season and it is pretty much on top of its game. Hurling insults and jokes a mile a minute, the show is glorious and dysfunctional mess that doesn’t hold back when it comes to satirizing politics. This season, the ill-tempered and arrogant Jonah Ryan (played spectacularly by Tim Simons) is running for Congress and the people at HBO managed to put together a campaign website (www.jonahryanforcongress.com) that is on-point and looks so much like a real campaign website that you might end up voting for him. But the best part of website are the poorly edited ads that have a dead-eyed Jonah chopping wood and babbling nonsense in a voiceover. Then again, this may be better than some other campaign ads and websites we have been treated to in the past couple of months.
