Josh Hutcherson & Suki Waterhouse to Star in Thriller “Plume”

The Hunger Games and Assassination Nation‘s join Mike Gan’s thriller, PLUME.

Gan’s writes and directs the film that follows a lonely unstable gas station attendant Melinda (Tilda Cobham-Hervey), who is tired of being over shadowed by her outgoing co-worker Sheila  (Waterhouse). When the gas station is held at gunpoint by a desperate man in need of quick cash (Hutcherson), Melinda finds an opportunity to make a connection with the robber.

This will serve as Gan’s feature debut who previously gained recognition in the filmmaking community for his short No Evil, which screened at Toronto Film Festival’s Creative Minds and Palm Springs ShortFest.

Producing the film is Yale Prods.’ Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman, Michael J. Rothstein and Russ Posternak alongside Sukee Chew of Hopscotch Pictures and Ash Christian of Cranium Entertainment. Production begins later this month.

Hutcherson is best known for playing Peeta in The Hunger Games franchise. His other credits include The Disaster Artist, Hulu’s series Future Man and Red Dawn. He is represented by .

Waterhouse can be seen in the upcoming film Assassination Nation, as well as opposite Ryan Reynolds in Legendary’s Detective Pikachu, with her casting news being announced last week. She is represented by .
