Back in July, the Tracking Board named Landline star Abby Quinn as our Up-and-Comer of the Month and she continues to make us look smart, as she has signed on to star in the feature film GOOD GIRLS GET HIGH, the Tracking Board has exclusively learned.
Laura Terrus is directing from a script by Jennifer Nashorn Blankenship, while Tripp Reed, Elysa Dutton and Leslie Morgenstein are producing with Blue Ribbon Content. Go90 will distribute the film, which co-stars Lauren Lapkus, Matt Besser and Chanté Adams.
The story follows two overachieving “good girls” who decide to experience all they’ve missed out on in one crazy, unforgettable night prior to their high school graduation.
Since her breakout role alongside Jenny Slate in Gillian Robespierre’s indie comedy Landline, Quinn has booked a key role in Paramount’s Transformers spinoff Bumblebee, with pairs her with Hailee Steinfeld. She also stars opposite Joey King in the upcoming indie Radium Girls.
Quinn will soon be seen in Jodie Foster’s Black Mirror episode “Arkangel,” which will debut on Netflix on Dec. 29. I’ve seen it, and it’s a strong entry in the series. Quinn is represented by CAA and Rebecca Kitt & Associates.
