Lizzie Brochere has been tapped for the second season of FX’s THE STRAIN. Created by Guillermo del Toro, Chuck Hogan, and Carlton Cuse, the series follows Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Corey Stoll), the head of the Center for Disease Control Canary Team in New York City, who is called upon to investigate a mysterious viral outbreak with hallmarks of an ancient and evil strain of vampirism. Brochere is set to play Coco, the personal assistant to Eldritch Palmer (Jonathan Hyde).
The French actress is currently filming Full Contact. The drama, from writer/director David Verbeek centers on a man trying to find new purpose in life after accidentally bombing a school through a remotely operated drone plane. She recently stared as Grace Bertrand in American Horror Story: Asylum, the third installment of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology.
