Netflix Orders “Dead to Me” from “2 Broke Girls” Scribe Liz Feldman

Dark comedy has nabbed a 10-episode series order from Netflix. The project hails from 2 Broke Girls writer , Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gloria Sanchez Prods., and CBS TV Studios.

The series is about a powerful friendship that blossoms between a tightly wound widow and a free spirit with a shocking secret.

Feldman wrote the project and will executive produce with Ferrell, McKay, and Jessica Elbaum. This is the second project from Ferrell and McKay to land at the streaming giant. Through Funny Or Die the pair executive produce the comedy series American Vandal which is currently working on their second season after becoming one of the most-binge-watched series on Netflix last year. This is also CBS Studios’ fourth Netflix series after American Vandal, the upcoming Insatiable, and the drama Unbelievable.

Feldman has an overall deal with CBS Studios after working on several series for CBS including 2 Broke Girls, The Great Indoors, and 9JKL. She is represented by and .
