Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for ANNABELLE: CREATION, the next chapter in The Conjuring Universe.
This time around, Annabelle targets her maker, his wife, a nun, and several girls from a shuttered orphanage. As you might have guessed, shit gets crazy. These films don’t do much for me, but I pledged my allegiance to Chucky long ago. He gets mad when I see other killer doll movies.
David F. Sandberg (Lights Out) directs from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman, who also wrote the first Annabelle. Produced by Peter Safran and James Wan, the film’s cast includes Stephanie Sigman, Anthony LaPaglia and Miranda Otto.
Annabella: Creation opens Aug. 11, which makes more sense than you might think, as the Conjuring franchise has fared quite well during the summer.
