is set to join Adam Driver and Michael Palin in Terry Gilliam’s long gestating THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE.

Alfama Films will produce the film and is handling the international sales rights during Cannes.

Gilliam has attempted to get this film off the ground seven times between 1998 and now. With his cast shaping up, it seems as though the feature is finally gaining some momentum. Gilliam also hinted that Johnny Depp, who was set to star in the failed 2000 version, may make a cameo.

The film will follow Palin’s Quixote and how he believes an advertising executive played by Driver is Sancho Panza, the main character from the classic Do Miguel de Cervante’s novel from 1605.

Kurylenko’s breakout role as a Bond girl in Quantum of Solace led to roles in films such as Seven Psychopaths, Oblivion and The Water Diviner. She is currently filming the thriller Mara.
