Paramount Buys Horror Spec “The Infinity Reel” From Newcomer Adam D’Alba

has acquired the horror spec from relative newcomer Adam D’Alba, the Tracking Board has confirmed.

, and will produce for along with of Bullitt Entertainment.

The story follows a paranormal investigator who finds himself drawn to a small town that has experienced bizarre phenomena. He soon discovers that these instances have an eerie connection with his own past.

The script is based on a pilot that D’Alba wrote for eOne, which is considering becoming involved with the feature.

D’Alba was recently hired by New Line to adapt the horror short The Maiden for James Wan’s Atomic Monster, and he also wrote The Castle, a pilot in development at A&E and Global Produce. He’s represented by Gersh and Grandview, and the Hollywood Reporter broke the news of the Infinity sale.
