The spec market is heating up yet again as the buzz around P.J. McIlvaine’s The Man On Lincoln’s Nose begins to build. The script, centered on the man who sculpted Mt. Rushmore, has made its way into the hands of some big name producers heading into the weekend…

Logline: Gutzon Borglum, the iconic, controversial, visionary sculptor/artist whose passion and perseverance resulted in the creation of one of America’s most beloved and enduring landmarks – Mt. Rushmore – while battling an indifferent public, recalcitrant politicians and the Great Depression.

ABC is continuing the trend of reimagining classic films with a new TV movie version of Dirty Dancing. They have attached Abigail Breslin in the role of “Baby,” previously played by Jennifer Grey.
