Season 3, Episode 6 – Tonight’s episode of The Leftovers focuses on Laurie as she finds a way out of the situation she’s in. Will Kevin do what everyone asks of him and die again so he can go to the afterlife hotel and deliver messages and possibly learn a song that may save the world?
Season 3, Episode 5 – What was the explosion that grounded all flights on The Leftovers, and how does it affect Matt, Kevin, and the others? Matt has maniacally followed what he believes is God’s plan for his life, but has what he considers God testing him only been in his mind, or is there a higher power involved?
Season 3, Episode 4 – Nora and Kevin head to Australia as their relationship reaches a critical junction in this episode of The Leftovers. Has the compartmentalization of their neurosis kept their relationship strong, or are they on the precipice of drifting apart? Season 3, Episode 2 – The second episode of The Leftovers focuses on Nora, and it’s a strong and powerful look into how she’s dealing with the loss of her children, including Lily. The sitcom Perfect Strangers plays a front and center role in this episode, as Mark Linn-Baker reaches out to Nora with a strange offer to see her children again.
Season 3, Episode 1 – A lot has changed after the Guilty Remnant overtook the city of Jarden during the finale of The Leftovers last season. Relationship dynamics are completely different, the town has altered, and the populace believes something dramatic is going to happen on the seven-year anniversary of the Departure.
The finale of The Leftovers covered a lot of ground, and filled in a lot of the missing pieces. It was a thrilling season, and I hope HBO renews it for another. I’d like to see how things shake out in the aftermath of tonight’s events.
The Leftovers continues to surprise as the season finale edges nearer. Last week the show closed the door on one villain, and in the process made the viewer actually feel for Patti. This week we find out what filled the void in Patti’s absence, and it’s much worse than Patti.
Get ready for a wild ride as this week’s episode of The Leftovers follows Kevin while he does battle with Patti. It’s a wonderful episode filled with dream logic, bizarre twists and turns, and a redemption that’s both weird and wonderful.
Things are not going well for Kevin in this week’s episode of The Leftovers after telling Nora about Patti. The supposedly safe and comfortable life he’s built with Nora, Jill, and Lily is in jeopardy, but how does Kevin save it all from falling apart?
This episode of The Leftovers focuses on the losses both Erika and Nora have experienced as mothers, how they deal with it, and how it puts them at cross purposes in the end. It also paints in a little of what Laurie is going through as well.
One of last season’s best hours of The Leftovers focused on Matt and Mary and what led up to their predicament, so it only follows that another Matt episode will show us what’s happened to them since they arrived in Miracle.
The calm happy refuge of Miracle gets all shaken up this week on The Leftovers, and it leaves Nora and Kevin to figure out where they go from here. This is another powerful episode that brings us back to Texas, to find out what happened in the aftermath of Kevin waking up in the empty pond.
The Leftovers continues to fill in the blanks of what happened in the aftermath of last season’s riot and fire. What has Laurie been up to since her daughters near death as a member of The Guilty Remnant? Tonight we find out.
The second episode of The Leftovers fills in the blanks about what happened to Nora and the Garvey’s before they reached Miracle. After two episodes there are already so many nicely planted threads to this season, that it has me incredibly excited about the possibilities.
A new season of The Leftovers kicked off last night, and it was a bit of a departure from the first season. Resetting the show in a new geographic location, and focusing almost the entire episode on a new group of characters is a bold decision, but one that pays off for the show.
