Season 3, Episode 10 – The Strain’sSeason 3 Finale brings excitement, false hope and the return of Zack and he’s more unlikable than ever.
Season 3, Episode 9 – The Strainis winding down, but not before some minor revelations lead to major changes in the game.
Season 3, Episode 8 – Villainous former Nazi Eichorst is once again experimenting with humans as he is concerned about speeding up the process of feeding his strigoi army and uses his human scientist as a model on The Strain.
Season 3, Episode 7 – The Strain has once again slowed down on the action as everyone regroups to collect information but what the collaborators lacks in fight scenes it makes up for with brief moments of gross-out bliss combined with important revelations.
Season 3, Episode 6 – As The Strain continues to pick up steam and the team gets closer to getting back together, there are some near misses and some new challenges on the way. Like the season, the episode starts slow before building to a climax that probably won’t be resolved until next week, making it a perfect show.
As the third season of The Strain reaches the halfway point, “Madness” seems to bring about several important discoveries for our strigoi hunters.
After the excitement of last week, The Strain has once again slowed it’s pacing but shows promise of picking up again as the gang gets closer to reuniting and an eventual epic battle with The Master is in the distant future.
The Strain is really starting to pick up steam in its third season. From a series of flashbacks to an unexpected death, “First Born” is shockingly action-packed.
The Strain is already picking up speed as we continue to catch up with old friends and foes, and new alliances and subplots are formed.
The third season of The Strain opens strongly, if softly. Although no drastic changes are taking place, we get to catch up on most of the main characters after the stunning finale of season 2 and get a glimpse of a new conflict on the horizon.
“It is a small world after all,” concludes grizzled vampire killer at the end of a hardcore vampire TV show (seriously).
Regardless of what’s going on in an episode of “The Strain,” a lack of logic is always prominent.
Half fun, half dumb, all tolerable
A filler episode that could’ve been worse.
The train to campy town is here, and it’s kind of a fun ride.
The fun finally gets here.
The show finally admits it makes no sense.
….pretty much nothing whatsoever happens.
Two blood-dripping steps forward, one blood-dripping step back…
Finally, we get a glimpse of the show we were promised.
This episode somehow makes a vampire going smooth “down there” boring.
