Like a cinematic cherry on top of the treat that is this cast, Kong: Skull Island has cast John Goodman as the leader of the ill-fated expedition to the giant ape’s home turf.

Jason Mitchell has joined the cast of Kong: Skull Island, alongside Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson. He is the second actor from Straight Outta Compton to join Skull Island, with Corey Hawkins’ involvement announced earlier this month.

Victor Von Doom is setting sail for fantastic creatures.

Hiddleston will star, while Vogt-Roberts directs the King Kong project.
