Comedy Central has given the green light to Detroiters, a new comedy series created by and starring Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson. The series is being executive produced by Lorne Michaels through his Broadway Video and Jason Sudeikis.
The story follows an idiotic rich woman that unknowingly falls in love with a con-man. She has a wake up call when he fakes his death to collect her two-million-dollars.

Logline: Story centers on a woman who discovers a novel written by her ex while browsing at a bookstore, and after paging through it realizes that the “fat-assed girlfriend” referred to throughout was her. In retaliation she sets out to write her own book about it, only hers will be non-fiction.
Logline: A young inventor and his mother embark on a road trip, ostensibly to sell his his organic cleaning product to marketing outlets. However, each of them have ulterior motives. He plans on reuniting his mother with a man she loved earlier in life, while his mother attempts to help him overcome his “curse” of non-commitment in relationships.
