Daniel Radcliffe has joined the cast of THE INTERNSHIP, the latest comedy from director Shawn Levy. The movie follows two middle-aged men, played by Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn, who are laid off and become interns at a cutting-edge tech company.
Vaughn wrote the script with Jared Stern and will produce with Levy and his sister, Victoria Vaughn. Dan Levine and Mary McLaglen will executive produce.
Radcliffe has managed to establish a post-”Harry Potter” career with a number of projects. He recently finished a year-long run on Broadway in the Tony Award-winning musical “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” alongside John Larroquette. Radcliffe’s latest film, “The Woman in Black”, was a critical and commercial hit that cemented Radcliffe’s place as an actor and not a child star.
Radcliffe will next be seen in the period thriller “Kill Your Darlings” with Elizabeth Olsen and Michael C. Hall. He has also signed on to play Paul Baumer in a remake of “All Quiet on the Western Front”, based on the classic war novel by Erich Maria Remarque.
Radcliffe is repped by UTA.
