Fox has officially offered the role of famed Italian sports car designer Enzo Ferrari to Javier Bardem in GO LIKE HELL.
The film tells the true story of the competition between Ferrari and the Ford Motor Company, which culminating in the 1966 Le Mans race. Brad Pitt has also been offered the role of Carroll Shelby, an American racer behind the wheel of the AC Cobra prototype. “Public Enemies” director Michael Mann is set to direct Jason Keller’s script.
Lucas Foster and Alexander F Young are producing.
Bardem, who won an Oscar for playing bobbed menace Anton Chigurh in “No Country For Old Men,” will next be seen playing a James Bond villain opposite Daniel Craig in “Skyfall.” He is repped by WME.
