It looks like Kristen Stewart is headed back to CALI with “30 Minutes or Less” scribe Michael Diliberti. The actress is attached to star in the action/comedy from Voltage Pictures and New School Media, with Diliberti penning the script.
The story follows Chris, who after selling a snuff film featuring his girlfriend Mya for a huge bundle of cash, must bring “his girlfriend back from the dead” years later, and return to California to save the younger sister Mya left behind. Twenty-four hours of crime-gone-wrong ensue, as the young couple contend with angry former business partners, homicidal porn stars, stoners, an unstoppable killing machine in a cowboy hat and their own contentious relationship.
Diliberti will produce the pic alongside Nicolas Chartier, Craig J. Flores and Zev Foreman. Brian Levy is on board to executive produce.
Stewart, whose “Twilight” run will come to an end this November when the fifth film is released, will next be seen in the highly-anticipated “Snow White and the Huntsman,” and will also star in the the feature adaptation of “On the Road.” You can view the freshly-debuted trailer for “On the Road” by clicking HERE.
Diliberti also has “Little White Corvette” set up with GK Films and Emma Stone attached for the lead role.
