Director Will Gluck has signed on to direct Fox’s UNTITLED ESPN PROJECT, a tell-all behind-the-scenes look at the formation and launch of the most successful network in modern television history, ESPN. The idea stems from the book “ESPN: Those Guys Have All The Fun” written by James Andrew Miller and Tom Shales. The studio is currently looking for a scribe to come on board, but with three films under his belt as a director, Gluck has penned two, “Fired Up!” and his latest effort “Friends With Benefits,” which may (or may not) mean Gluck will pen the script he eventually directs.
Gluck has a number of films in development around town, including “Labor Day Mason” for Strike Entertainment and “Rehab,” a romance comedy which he is also producing.
Gluck is repped by UTA.
