The Complete List of 2017 BAFTA Awards Nominations

I Daniel BlakeeOne Films

Preacher’s Dominic Cooper and Game of Thrones’ Sophie Turner revealed the nominations for this year’s , the British equivalent of the Academy Awards. Right after taking home a record number of Golden Globes, Damien Chazelle’s La La Land once more came out on top with an astonishing 11 nominations. Arrival and Nocturnal Animals both came close behind with nine nominations.

There were also some notable names left off the list of nominations. Primarily, Moonlight’s Barry Jenkins for director and Fences’ Denzel Washington for lead actor.

Unsurprisingly, the British Academy did give some love to films from their own homeland, including the Cannes-winner I, Daniel Blake as well as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Florence Foster Jenkins.

The ceremony will take place February 12 at the Royal Albert Hall, with Stephen Fry hosting for a 12th time. Keep track with our State of the Race analysis and see the full list of nominations below.
