The Entire Story Of “Star Wars: A New Hope” Told In A Massive Infographic (Things We Love)
0On May 25, 1977, Star Wars: A New Hope was released into theaters and forever changed the landscape of cinema. It led us to the glorious game-changing follow-up Empire Strikes Back and the Ewok-infested and tolerable Return of the Jedi. Then there were the prequels which, now matter how hard we try, we will never forget thanks to the excessive CG-effects and the haunting gibberish of Jar Jar Binks. Most recently, the franchise was reinvigorated thanks to Disney and J.J. Abrams and the magic worked on The Force Awakens — and all of this wouldn’t have been possible without A New Hope.
To celebrate its 39th anniversary, a massive infographic was created by artist and graphic novelist Martin Panchaud. The 157-page infographic (yes, you read that right: 157 pages) tells the entire story of A New Hope with meticulous graphics of ships, scenes, dialogue, planets, space stations and characters. It’s quite remarkable.
