SONY NAMES ROBERT LAWSON CHIEF COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Charles Sipkins previously held the position, but stepped down shortly before the height of the major studio hack that occurred at Sony late last year, which revealed personal information to public, including company emails.
MIRAMAX NAMES DAVID THWAITES VP OF FILM
The position was newly created by the studio. He will report to Zanne Devine, Executive Vice President of Film & TV. Thwaites has served as the executive producer on the Natalie Portman thriller Black Swan.
