While Netflix has been a leader in the digital content revolution, the streaming giant has also been a pioneer in the development of the year round programming slate. As most shows are winding down or have already finished their seasons, Netflix is gearing up to drop one of their most popular and critically acclaimed shows in the month of June. While Orange Is The New Black will surely dominate the conversation surrounding Netflix, it’s not the only thing that’s worth catching up with in June.

Here’s a few of our must-stream movies and shows coming to Netflix in June, and don’t forget to check out the complete list of new additions below!

Jurassic Park  (June 1)

Steven Spielberg’s 1993 blockbuster was a massive hit upon its release and showcases the director’s ability to craft epic actioners with strong emotional cores. The film tells the story of an amusement park where the attractions are actual dinosaurs, created using prehistoric DNA. Sam Neil and Laura Dern play paleontologists who come to the park to inspect the dinosaurs yet become trapped in a terrifying adventure when security measures fail and T-Rexes, velociraptors and other ferocious predators break free. The movie includes wonderful supporting turns from Jeff Goldblum, Wayne Knight, Samuel L. Jackson and Richard Attenborough as the brilliant but horribly misguided John Hammond. Equal parts humor, heart and terror, Jurassic Park is a thrilling and enjoyable ride for all adventures. The sequels, The Lost World and Jurassic Park III will also be available.

Bo Burnham: Make Happy (June 3)

The former YouTube sensation comes to Netflix in this hilarious special culled from his most recent tour. Burnham’s brand of alternative comedy, incorporated clever songs and insightful observations, has made him one of the brightest young stars in comedy. An auto-tuned bit on the narrow construction of Pringles cans is a specific highlight of the hour long special.

Orange is the New Black: Season 4 (June 17)

The ensemble dramedy set inside a minimum security women’s prison is Netflix’s most watched original series and one of the most popular shows in all of television. The show’s success with audiences is mirrored by its critical plaudits. OITNB has scored multiple nominations and wins for Emmys and Golden Globes. The diverse cast is one of the strongest in television and has allowed the show to be successful and evolve at the same time. Season Four should be another strong entry in the show’s canon. Look for more accolades come awards season.

Spotlight (2015) (June 22)

The winner of Best Picture at the 88th Academy Awards follows The Boston Globe’s Pulitzer Prize winning “Spotlight” team as they investigate systemic child abuse within the Catholic Church in Boston. It is a well-plotted, compelling drama that showcases the importance of an inquisitive free press in uncovering injustice. Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams, Mark Ruffalo and Liev Schreiber star in the top-notch ensemble that fuels Spotlight’s search for truth. This is an affecting story both intellectually stimulating and exhilarating, and should give subscribers something to look forward to near the end of the month.
