The Netflix Board Recruits Anne Sweeney

Anne Sweeney has joined the Netflix board of directors. 

Sweeney previously served as the co-chair of Disney Media Networks and Disney/ABC Television Group. 

Microsoft EVP and general counsel Brad Smith has also recently joined the Netflix board. 

In response to the company’s additions, Netflix founder and CEO Reed Hastings stated,

We look forward to benefiting from Brad and Anne’s perspective as we continue to build our global Internet TV network,”
