The Second “Wonder” Trailer Will Get You Crying Again (video)

Lionsgate / Dale Robinette

On Friday, Lionsgate will open their movie adaptation of Jeannette Walls’ memoir The Glass Castle, starring Brie Larson, which is likely to make you tear up quite a bit — my review is coming soon.

They’re now doubling down by attaching the second trailer for their PG-rated holiday drama, Wonder, starring Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson and Jacob Tremblay.

It’s the new movie from Stephen Chbosky (The Perks of Being a Wallflower), adapted from August Pullman’s bestselling novel about a boy named Auggie (Tremblay), who has facial differences that have kept him from attending school, but who becomes an unlikely hero as he enters the fifth grade.

The movie is scheduled for release on November 17, which is just the right time to build some holiday word-of-mouth before the long Thanksgiving weekend.
