  • Australian comedian, singer, actor, director and composer Tim Minchin has been cast as Friar Tuck in Lionsgate forthcoming bow-and-arrow action pic Robin Hood: Origins. (/Film)

  • Mikhail Bulgakov’s The Master and Margarita — considered to be one of the best novels of the 20th Century — has been optioned to be developed into a feature film. The book tells the story about the devil visiting 1930s Moscow right after Christ’s crucifixion.  (Deadline)

  • Matthew Lillard will play the hubby of Kathleen Rose Perkins’ character in Good Girls while Sam Adegoke gets cast in the CW’s Dynasty pilot. (TVLine)
