A new horror flick is on the horizon and director brothers Kevin Goetz and Mike Goetz have signed on to direct. Superstition is written by Jeff Reddick and currently set up at Lionsgate.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes director Rupert Wyatt has been tapped to helm the sci-fi pic Captive State, which he co-wrote with his wife Erica Beeney. Plot details are being kept under wraps for the film, which will go into production sometime in 2017. (Variety)
Ryan Michelle Bathe has booked a recurring role in Dan Fogelman’s upcoming NBC dramedy This Is Us. She joins her husband, Sterling K. Brown, who stars in the show alongside Many Moore and Milo Ventimiglia. (Deadline)
