A-List talent in front of and behind the camera have started to circle a new spec package that brings one America’s historical female heroes to the big screen.
Since the start of the century, ABC has been the top-rated network only once (all the way back in the 2000-01 season) and since then, they’ve been losing millions of viewers as their shows and ratings have stagnated or dropped. Channing Dungey and her team have their work cut out for them, and a fairly difficult road to maneuver to get back on top.
The King of Rock n’ Roll is headed to the small screen. Weinstein Television has made a groundbreaking deal with the Elvis Presley estate to create biopic series. The deal includes access to all rights to Presley’s music, clothes, automobiles, jets, and the opportunity to shoot in the singer’s Graceland home — an unprecedented first.

Comedy Central has greenlit an unscripted series from standup comedian Moshe Kasher. Set to premiere in 2017, Problematic with Moshe Kasher” will be a weekly series that invites viewers to bring their online outrage into the studio for a raucous discussion of today’s most polarizing topics from social media with the help of experts, comedians and the studio audience. The Good Wife executive producer Craig Turk is back at CBS with a new legal drama project, Perfect Citizen.
