Topps Deals Out Weekly Trading Cards For “Preacher” (Things We Love)

If you are of a certain age than you know the value of good ol’ fashioned trading cards. Topps plans to reincarnate that kind of fandom with a series of trading cards associated with AMC’s TV adaptation of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s graphic novel Preacher.

The show premiered last night alongside a collection of cards that highlight some of the most significant moments from the episode. The cards will be available for purchase for only 24 hours after the episode airs. Topps will continue to do this with each episode, giving fans a different set of cards each week. This new program called Topps Now is the first of its kind for TV and the company plans on doing it for future shows.
