Warner Bros. Taps Google Veteran Andrew Hotz as EVP of Worldwide Digital Marketing
0Warner Bros. has hired former Google marketing executive Andrew Hotz as its new executive VP of worldwide digital marketing, the studio announced Monday.
In his new post, Hotz will oversee the division’s domestic and international digital teams, working with the broader marketing team on the design and deployment of digital campaigns to support titles from Warner Bros. and New Line. He’ll report directly to JP Richards, executive VP of worldwide marketing and chief data strategist.
Prior to joining Warners, Hotz served as Head of Industry at Google, where he was responsible for managing the relationship between Google/YouTube and NBC Universal, and consulting with the studio and networks on digital marketing efforts, including media strategy, data and measurement platforms, digital creative and partnerships. During his time at Google, Hotz also managed the global P&G business, and worked on Google’s TV ads business. He began his career in production at DreamWorks Animation.
