In a dystopian future, the government hires a private investigator named Warren Lich to hunt down and kill a terrorist leader. During his investigation, Warren discovers that he can’t separate his friends from his enemies.
Director Shaun Rana has sold a pitch to InterTitle Films about a hitman in a futuristic world called “Warren Lich.” The sale, however, was not from a spec script or a typical pitch; it was from a spec trailer that Rana shot himself. Reportedly made for only 1000 Euros (or just over $1300 for us Americans), Rana shot a four minute trailer of a steampunk action movie to entice investors into producing a feature. It apparently worked, as Rana is now in place to direct the film with Francisco Lorite writing the script and David Gerson producing.
