Weekend Box Office (10.28.13) “Gravity” Is Knocked Out Of Orbit By A “Bad Grandpa”

After 3 long weeks of reigning supreme at the box office, “Gravity” is finally dethroned, taking in $20.3 million, but getting beaten by the $32 million “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa” took in. “Captain Phillips” and “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” are both still holding strong and slowly working their way down the ranks of the top 5. “The Counselor” had a very disappointing release, taking in only $8 million. After coming in 3rd place last week, “Carrie” has made a sharp drop to 6th with $5.9 million this week.
