Veteran screenwriter Michael Brandt, who co-wrote Wanted and 3:10 to Yuma with Derek Haas, has sold an UNTITLED PITCH for a supernatural thriller to 20th Century Fox, the Tracking Board has confirmed.
Shawn Levy will produce under his 21 Laps banner along with Dan Levine, while Fox executive Scott Aversano will oversee the project for the studio, which is keeping the logline under wraps.
Brandt co-created NBC’s Chicago Fire and its two spinoffs, and currently serves as an EP on all three Chicago series. Additionally, he and Haas co-wrote 2 Fast 2 Furious and the 2011 Richard Gere thriller The Double, which Brandt also directed.
Brandt is represented by WME and Industry Entertainment, and Deadline broke the news of the pitch sale.
