It has been a great week for Launch Pad writer Megan Bacharach, who has just signed with Stagecoach Entertainment soon after being selected for one of three prestigious Launch Pad Pilots Mentorships for 2018 and reaching the Top 100 of our 2018 Pilots Competition for her script 101 WAYS TO BECOME A BETTER PERSON. She will be represented by Steve Smith, Evan Lewis and Zina Kresin.

101 WAYS has been described as The End of the F***ing World meets Ingrid Goes West, and follows a sociopath who moves to LA after her mother’s death and strives to become a better person, using an internet checklist as her only guide. Our readers have called the script a pitch perfect satire of the internet age with an obvious story engine for at least 100 episodes of hilarious comedic television. Simultaneously scatching, dark and deadpan, this pilot is the perfect showcase for Megan’s unique new voice.

Along with reaching the Top 25 of the 2016 Launch Pad Pilots Competition with her fantasy procedural FAIRY TALE CRIMES, Megan has placed in various screenwriting contests including the Austin Film Festival and the Screencraft Pilot Launch. She was featured on the 2017 Bitch List and is currently a Writers’ PA on NCIS: New Orleans, having previously worked as a Post Coordinator on 13 Reasons Why.

With this signing, Megan joins the over 360 writers who have found representation through the Launch Pad Competition since it began in 2013. We’re excited to see what she does next!
