Amazon’s first original feature film, THE WALL, may have found its leading man. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is in talks to star in the Doug Liman-directed war thriller.
Written by Dwain Worrell, the story centers on cat-and-mouse contest between an American sharpshooter and the Iraqi sniper who has him pinned behind a small chunk of concrete. The script landed on the 2014 Hit List as well as the Black List and was the first spec script nabbed by Amazon. The project will be presented to buyers this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
Taylor-Johnson can be seen next in the Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals with Jake Gyllenhaal and Amy Adams. His previous movie credits include Godzilla and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
He is repped by UTA, Hamilton Hodell, and Todd Shemarya Artists.
