ABC has given additional episode orders to three of its hit shows, GREY’S ANATOMY, BLACK-ISH, and AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE.
Grey’s, now in its 14th season, will celebrate its 300th episode on November 9.
The long-running Shondaland drama typically has 24-episode seasons, though anomolies include Season 1, which only had nine and Season 2, which had the series-high of 27. Season 4 had 17 episodes, while Season 11 had 25.
American Housewife is gaining an episode for its second season, having topped out at 23 in its freshman year.
Black-ish has had 24-episode seasons all throughout its four-season run.
Grey’s airs Thursdays at 8 p.m., while black-ish airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. and American Housewife airs at 9:30 p.m on Wednesdays.
