Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Adam Driver is set to get behind the wheel for Steven Soderbergh’s NASCAR heist film LOGAN LUCKY. The story centers on two brothers who attempt a crime during a NASCAR race.
Seth MacFarlane is also in talks to join the feature which Michael Shannon was once attached. Channing Tatum and Riley Keough from Soderbergh’s Magic Mike have also been tapped to join the cast.
Mark Johnson, Gregory Jacobs, and Reid Carolin will serve as producers. The film is being shopped around at Cannes.
Driver recently starred in the blockbuster The Force Awakens as Kylo Ren, a role he will reprise in Episode VIII. He also appeared in the Jeff Nichols’s sci-fi drama Midnight Special opposite Michael Shannon, Joel Edgerton, and Kirsten Dunst.
