The latest news coming from the STAR WARS: EPISODE VII camp is that Adam Driver is in talks to play the villain for the J.J. Abrams directed feature. The role is said to be in the vein of the iconic Darth Vadar. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan have penned the most recent draft of the script that Driver will be acting from.
Repped by Gersh, Driver’s deal with Disney to act in the latest installment in the “Star Wars” series was held up by complications with his role on the HBO hit “Girls.” Now that scheduling issues have been worked out between the Abrams’ film and Lena Dunham’s show, the launch bay doors are open for Driver to take off as the newest galactic menace.
