Noah Baumbach has tapped Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller to star in his next feature, YEN DIN KA KISSA which is currently filming in New York. Baumbach has frequently collaborated with Stiller on films including Greenberg and While We Were Young. This marks his first collaboration with Sandler.
The film, which means “the story of the day” in Hindi, is about an estranged New York family that comes together in preparation of artist and patriarch Harold’s career perspective. It is reported that Sandler and Stiller will play brothers while Dustin Hoffman will play the aforemoentioned father. It is assumed that Emma Thompson will play the mother who she described as a “dreadful, passive-aggressive alcoholic” in a recent interview.
Sandler recently starred and produced the controversial comedy The Ridiculous 6 on Netflix and voiced Dracula in the animated feature, Hotel Transylvania 2. He can be seen next in The Do Over opposite David Spade and Paula Patton. He is repped by WME and APA.
Stiller directed and starred in Zoolander 2 earlier this year and is currently filming the John Hamburg comedy Why Him? with Bryan Cranston and James Franco. He is repped by WME.
