Alan Leech has joined the cast of THE IMITATION GAME alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley. The story centers on Alan Turing (Cumberbatch), a British mathematician who was a pioneer in the computer revolution. A tortured soul, he committed suicide two years after revealing his sexual orientation and enduring a humiliating treatment program. Leech will play a Scottish spy for the Soviets who plots against Turing.
Graham Moore wrote the script that was featured on both the 2011 Hit List and the 2011 Black List. Morten Tyldum (“Headhunters”) will direct while Nora Grossman, Ido Ostrowsky and Teddy Schwarzman produce.
In the land of respectable TV, Leech has appeared in “Rome,” “The Tudors” and “Downton Abbey.” On the film side of things he last appeared in “The Sweeney” and will next appear in “Grand Piano.”
He is repped by ICM.
