Albert Brooks and Catalina Sandino Moreno have joined the cast of A MOST VIOLENT YEAR alongside Oscar Isaac, Jessica Chastain and Alfred Molina. The story follows an immigrant and his family as they try to make a living while colliding with violent organized crime. Brooks will play an attorney to Isaac’s character.
J.C. Chandor (“All is Lost”) will direct from his own script. Neal Dodson and Anna Gerb will produce through Before the Door Pictures.
Brooks was last seen in “This is 40” and is currently doing voice work in “Little Dory” and “The Little Prince.” Moreno last appeared in “Magic, Magic” and will next show up in “Incarnate” and “Swelter.”
