Alex Ranarivelo has signed on to direct RUNNING WILD, a drama about a widowed ranch owner who works with ex-convicts to rehabilitate wild horses, for newly formed production shingle ESX Entertainment. Syfy’s Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God writer Brian Rudnick will pen the script.
ESX Entertainment is headed up by Forrest Lucas and Ali Ashfar. Running Wild is tied to Lucas’ nonprofit organization “Protect The Harvest,” which is dedicated to educating the public about protecting hunting, farming, and pet ownership.
Ranarivelo is repped by Circle of Confusion.
